We must respect everyone, the believers or non-believers in our midst who exhibit the VALUES of God in their lives.

Using a common value system as a bridge, we love them the way Jesus loves us and thus encouraging each other to receive grace from Jesus Christ for the problems that humanly could not solve.

God is pleased with the goodness of the pure heart – believers or non-believers. At the same time we shall experience God’s grace in healing of sicknesses and solving our personal problems.

People who endeavor to live their lives according to their good conscience will eventually come to know Christ as God and acknowledge Him as Lord of their lives. The message of the gospel cannot be divorced from the values of the gospel.

Believers honor God by living according to the truth. The most effective way to honor God is to live our lives as Christ lived. In so doing, we draw others to Him and at the same time strengthen others to persevere in walking in the truth.

God’s name may be TARNISHED by the works of a few, however, people can still recognize one who is a true follower of Christ. How do we bring honor to God? By putting the interests of others before our own. To be fair and principled in all our dealings. To be faithful to our spouse and to our friends. To be true to the promises that we made and deliver on them. To lift up the weak and fend for those who could not fend for themselves. To be careful to speak what is constructive and to cover the failings of others. To be honest and not to covet the belongings of others.

Baptism reinforces our faith as God’s children, and strengthens us to live as Christ lived. A believer who was baptized will experience a new measure of grace to live abundantly and to be successful in everything he does. He tends to be more resolute and confident of God’s provision in the face of challenges. Although, baptism does not immunize the believer from God’s judgment; it is an outward sign of an inner change, which is a sign of our adoption as God’s sons and our commitment to walk in His ways.

Revisit the criteria when you consider the people that you can trust and confide with. God does not “categorize” people according to their religious affiliations but according to the values of their heart.

Dear Lord, I desire to honor You by doing what is right according to Your commandments. Help me overcome the fears that hindered me from growing in Your likeness. In so doing, I may honor You before the world and draw people towards You. Help me discover the people that share Your value system so that I could be a friend to them. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
