The New Heavens and New Earth
“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10
Introduction
The goal of God is to bring salvation to all creation. That is ultimately achieved by the union of heaven and earth, resulting in the New Heavens and New Earth. It is the fulfillment of the prayer taught by Jesus: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
In this new order, God dwells among His people, continually guiding, teaching, and leading them into a higher way of life. Yet for those who remain permanently rebellious and refuse all opportunities for repentance, there remains the lake of fire—a place reserved for those who reject God’s rule and from which no further redemption is possible.
The Millennial Earth
The Millennial Age spans approximately one thousand years and serves as a period of preparation before the establishment of the New Heavens and New Earth. During this era, the higher dimensions (5th–8th), the lower dimensions (1st–4th), and the material earth are gradually prepared for their eventual union.
This thousand-year period serves several important purposes:
1. Establishing a Righteous Order on Earth
The first objective is to establish a righteous civilization free from systemic evil and the influence of lawless individuals. Society will be founded upon justice, truth, and righteousness, with every person carrying the law within their heart rather than merely obeying it outwardly. Humanity will experience a degree of freedom, peace, and stability never before witnessed in the present age.
2. Preparing the Higher Dimensions to Dwell Among Humanity
The second objective is to prepare beings from the higher dimensions to dwell openly among the nations of the earth. This is accomplished through the gradual establishment of their presence within human society.
Their influence will help shape civil laws, governance, education, and social norms according to heavenly principles. As a result, a culture reflecting the values of heaven will increasingly take root throughout the nations, preparing the earth for its eventual integration with the higher realms.
3. Separating the Incorrigible and Accelerating Redemption
The third objective is the identification and separation of souls that remain persistently rebellious against God across all dimensions. Such souls are found not only in the lower dimensions but also within the 5th and even the 6th dimensions.
These individuals continually reject God’s authority (some covertly and some overtly) despite repeated opportunities for repentance and are ultimately reserved for the lake of fire. Their separation occurs alongside an accelerated incarnation of souls from the lower dimensions onto the earth.
This process serves a redemptive purpose. By removing systemic evil and limiting the influence of incorrigible individuals, souls undergoing earthly life are given a greater opportunity to pursue righteousness, experience transformation, and work out their salvation.
4. Restoring Previously Fallen Worlds
Beyond the earth itself, another objective unfolds during this period: the restoration of planets and realms that were previously rendered desolate through sin and rebellion. These worlds will be renewed and made habitable once more, preparing them for future participation in God’s expanding creation.
The New Heavens and New Earth
The New Heavens and New Earth represent the culmination of God’s plan for the continual regeneration and salvation of creation.
In this new order, the higher dimensions (5th–8th), the lower dimensions (1st–4th), and the material earth are united into a single harmonious reality. The Ark of the Covenant dwelling among Israel during the time of Moses and the incarnation of Jesus Christ, the Word of God made flesh, were both foreshadowings of this ultimate purpose: God dwelling among His creation.
This new configuration enables continual fellowship and interaction between souls from every realm of existence. The barriers that once separated dimensions are removed, allowing creation to function as a unified whole under God’s government.
Direct Fellowship with God
One of the most significant changes in this new era concerns humanity’s relationship with God.
In the present age of chaos and the millennium, no one can speak to God directly apart from Jesus. Even Paul, when he sought direction for his missionary journeys only could receive visions and intermittent promptings but never through a comprehensive conversation. Thus, communication with God remains partial and limited.
In the New Heavens and New Earth, however, the fullness of the New Covenant becomes manifest. Every individual is granted direct and personal access to God. Communication with Him becomes as natural and immediate as a face-to-face conversation.
This reality is made possible through Christ’s complete and intimate rule within every soul. The redemptive work accomplished through His blood reaches its fullest expression, removing every remaining barrier between God and humanity.
Yet this privilege cannot be granted prematurely. It becomes possible only after the conditions necessary for such communion have been established and fulfilled during the Millennial Age.
The Purposes of the New Heavens and New Earth
1. The Union of All Dimensions
The first purpose is the complete integration of the higher dimensions, the lower dimensions, and the earth into a single plane of existence. Souls from all realms dwell together under God’s government, participating in a shared civilization and common destiny.
2. The Expansion of Righteous Civilization
The second purpose is to extend humanity throughout creation, populating worlds with beings characterized by intelligence, creativity, wisdom, and righteousness. The restored creation becomes a vast domain for growth, exploration, stewardship, and service.
3. The Ongoing Expansion of Creation
The third purpose is the continual expansion of the universe itself. New planets, solar systems, and galaxies come into existence as creation continues to unfold under God’s direction.
Rather than reaching a static endpoint, creation enters an eternal age of growth, discovery, and increasing glory. The New Heavens and New Earth therefore represent not the conclusion of God’s work, but the beginning of an everlasting era in which creation continually advances toward its divine potential under the loving rule of God.
Truth
– Practice Unity Across Differences
The ultimate destiny of creation is the union of all the redeemed under the one government of God. Therefore, God’s redemptive plan is not centered on a particular religious identity but on the formation of a people who submit themselves to His rule and embody His Word. In this view, the gathering of the righteous, the Millennial Kingdom, and ultimately the New Heavens and New Earth are intended for all who respond to God in faith and obedience, making love for God and love for others the guiding principles of their lives.
For this reason, followers of Christ are called to place the teachings of Jesus at the center of their lives. We seek reconciliation rather than hostility, pursue peace rather than unnecessary division, and learn to live in harmony with people from different faiths, cultures, and backgrounds. While remaining faithful to truth, we recognize that every person bears God’s image and is a potential participant in His redemptive purposes.
The Christian life therefore extends beyond the salvation of the individual. It is God’s process of preparing His people to participate in the continual renewal and expansion of creation, serving under His rule, enjoying unhindered fellowship with Him, and contributing to the flourishing of the New Heavens and New Earth.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, prepare my heart for Your coming kingdom. Teach me to walk in righteousness, humility, and truth. Transform me from within so that I may reflect Your will on earth. Strengthen me to serve faithfully, love others well, and remain open to Your correction. Through Jesus Christ, draw me into deeper fellowship with You and make me a participant in Your work of restoration, now and forever. Amen.
